Deanery Evensong - Saturday, February 29th (4:30 pm) @ St. Mark’s Church. The beautiful service of Evensong is an opportunity to hear the familiar canticles of Evening Prayer set to music and sung in keeping with longstanding tradition in the Anglican Church. This deanery service is being hosted by St. Mark’s. 

            Please note: A choir is being assembled, to sing an anthem and other parts of the service. All are invited to participate in the choir. There are 2 mandatory rehearsals (February 21 & 26 at 3:30 pm) and it is also necessary that choir members be able to sight read music, so that the anthems can be prepared within the short time parameters in which we are working. In addition, the choir will need to come to a final run through with guest organist (Billy Jenkins) at 3:45pm on the day of the service (February 29). Participants will be sent their music and should be familiar with their parts prior to the first rehearsal.
